Category 2 (internal connections): Service Request: Cat 2 - Managed Internal Broadband Services (MIBS) The school is considering proposals for a vendor to provide the following services for the campus network consisting of a standardized Ubiquiti Unifi network with approximately 50 network devices. Specifically this is for a firewall, switches, and wireless access points. This vendor should be able to provide regular on-site visits. Vendor will be responsible for the management and operation of the LAN/WLAN to ensure nominal network operations. The vendor will be required to maintain configuration files, replicating configuration files to offsite secure repositories, applying security patches and firmware updates, monitoring throughput, and rebooting network devices as needed. This must also include Installation, activation, and initial configuration of eligible components and on-site training on the use of eligible equipment as needed. And this includes being able to provide, if requested, new / replacement network components. On-site visual inspection of MDF and IDFs every other month are may be required. Virtual collaboration and stakeholder meetings a minimum of once a trimester must be made available.
