Category 2 (internal connections): The District is seeking proposals for: WAPs Please refer to the RFP document(s) attached to this 470 for complete details, specifications, and bidding instructions. Due to the way EPC has been created with the service category questions, please consider information drafted into quantities, fields, and units as an educated guess at a minimum for the issuance of this Form 470 and RFP. All quantities are estimates as solutions proposed by vendors to meet the minimum specifications required may necessitate differing quantities. All questions, requests for information, and proposals must be submitted by e mail to: Mitch Stivason at Stivasonm@shalerarea.org and jolsen@csmcentral.com. The District will not respond to phone calls/requests. Vendor Questions/Request for Information are due: Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 2pm EST Questions and Answers will be posted on the EPC Portal through an addendum. Deadline for Submission of Proposals/Bids: 12PM EST on the Allowable Contract Date (ACD) of this FCC Form 470. Please note that while the District is seeking a one-time capital investment in infrastructure, if a service provider's solution contains some elements of the service types "Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections" (BMIC) and/or "Managed Internal Broadband Services" (MIBS) as defined by the manufacturer and the 2025 Eligible Services list, the District will evaluate these proposals as long as they meet the RFP requirements. The District is not soliciting separate bids for BMIC or MIBS as stand-alone solutions. To ensure that all Service Providers receive the same 470 information, it is required that you download the RFP Attachments directly from USAC's EPC website.
