Category 2 (internal connections): Service Request: Cat 2 - Distribution Equipment In response to increasing curriculum bandwidth requirements, the school is considering proposals for networking distribution equipment as listed in the FRNs. All equipment will be installed by schools IT support team. No installation is required in this proposal. Current networking fabric is Ubiquiti Unifi and any proposals for expansion/upgrades need to be fully interoperative with the existing network fabric. **** Distribution Equipment Proposal Requirements **** * Upfront Costs - Proposals must include all upfront costs. Any proposal lacking a clear statement of these costs will be disqualified. * Recurring Costs - Proposals should not include any recurring costs. * E-Rate Funding Contingency - The contract must allow the school to proceed with or without E-Rate funding and retain the option to decline the product if E-Rate does not approve funding for this area. * Additional Costs - Only proposed hardware and shipping should be included in the proposal. Additional costs (extended warranties, additional support options, etc.) should not be bundled into the proposal.
