Requested services

Category 2 (internal connections): The applicant seeks bids for eligible Category Two internal connections equipment and services necessary to support reliable broadband connectivity across its facilities. Requests include wireless access points, network switches, and routers, along with associated Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections (BMIC) services to support the ongoing operation of this equipment. In addition, the applicant seeks managed operation, management, and monitoring services for eligible broadband internal connections and associated networked equipment. Services may include remote monitoring, alerting, patch and firmware management, and automation necessary to support the reliable and secure operation of internal network infrastructure. End-user help desk services are not included. Equipment and services requested are intended to support internal network connectivity and broadband access and may be provided by any manufacturer capable of meeting the functional requirements described. The applicant currently operates network infrastructure based on a Ubiquiti platform or equivalent, and proposed solutions must be fully compatible with the applicants existing environment.
