Category 2 (internal connections): Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is seeking proposals for the purchase of Category Two eligible network equipment to support the Districts internal connections. The District is requesting proposals for the following equipment, or equivalent products, that meet or exceed the Districts technical and functional requirements: Ninety-four (94) access switches comparable to Cisco C9200L-48P-4X-E Seven (7) core or aggregation switches comparable to Cisco C9500-16X-A Seven (7) routing devices comparable to Cisco C8200L-1N-4T Proposals should include all ancillary components necessary to make the equipment fully operable on the network, including but not limited to required power supplies, optics, cables, modules, licensing, and related accessories. References to specific manufacturers or model numbers are provided for descriptive purposes only. Price of E-Rate eligible equipment will be the primary factor in evaluation. Any resulting contract will be contingent upon E-Rate funding approval and issuance of a Funding Commitment Decision Letter (FCDL).
