Category 2 (internal connections): **** There is an RFP associated with the 470 that provide additional details and requirements **** eiNetwork seeks proposals for the procurement of a next-generation firewall platform to replace the existing Palo Alto 5250 firewall configured in a high-availability (HA) pair to support the E-rate eligible member public library entities in the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. This procurement is for Category Two eligible components, including physical or virtual appliances, necessary software licenses and support services, and basic security services. The selected solution will serve as an aggregate platform, and costs for eligible components will be allocated proportionally to the Category Two budgets of all participating eligible library entities. Ineligible items, such as advanced security features, are still requested but will be cost-allocated out of any Erate reimbursement requests.
