Category 2 (internal connections): This networking project is for 12 strand structured cabling between closets in both the Elementary and Secondary Centers. Project includes, but is not limited to, all patch panels, labeling, fiber panels, connectors and color coding. Please see RFP for full details. A mandatory walk through has been scheduled for October 13, 2025. Prospective Vendors must direct and confine all inquiries and communications concerning this procurement via e- mail to both the Issuing/Technology Officer, and the E-rate Consultant, at the same time. The due date for vendor questions is 9 AM on October 27, 2025. Questions should include "FY 2026 E-rate Category 2 Question" in the subject line to ensure that the issuing officer identifies the email as relating to this procurement. All Questions and Answers will be added to the RFP documents by 2 PM on that day. The due date for all submittals is November 26, 2025 at 10 AM Eastern. All requested documents must be submitted. See section 1.2 for more information. Vendors are responsible for periodically monitoring the USAC EPC portal for any updates relating to this RFP. All proposed pricing must be firm and hold throughout the project. Vendor Pre-Bid Walk-Through: The District will conduct a mandatory pre-bid vendor walk-through on October 13, 2025 at 10 AM to explain the specs for the structured cabling work and allow vendors to conduct their own distance measurements. Vendors are solely responsible for their own measurements. Vendors should meet at the Mid Valley High School/Secondary Center lobby. There will not be a second scheduling of site walkthroughs. Proposals are due on or before November 26, 2025. Opening of bids will be held at a later date due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We will update this site with that information. A review of all bids for compliance will take place before the winning vendor is announced. As total cost for this project is unknown, we are including documentation on Prevailing Wage under Appendix C - Prevailing Wage.
